Job Title: Network and Systems Administrator



We are seeking a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining our company's network infrastructure and ensuring its smooth operation. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain network systems to ensure their optimal performance
- Troubleshoot any network issues that arise
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers
- Implement security measures to protect the network from potential threats
- Manage user accounts and permissions on the network
- Collaborate with other IT team members to plan and implement network upgrades or expansions
- Conduct regular backups of important data to ensure its safety in case of system failures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP), hardware (e.g. switches, routers), and software (e.g. firewalls)
- Experience with network monitoring tools
- Knowledge of security protocols and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred Requirements:
- Certifications such as CCNA or MCSE are a plus.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware)
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS)
