Network and Systems Administrator
Location: Alta, Norway (open to candidates of all nationalities)


We are a dynamic and growing IT company based in Alta, Norway. We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis. This role will require you to manage and maintain our network infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation and security of our systems.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues
- Install and configure hardware, software, and network devices
- Ensure data backup and disaster recovery processes are in place
- Manage user accounts, permissions, email accounts, and access rights
- Maintain security systems such as firewalls, antivirus programs, and intrusion detection systems
- Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues
- Keep up-to-date with new technology trends and implement upgrades as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Network Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing protocols, TCP/IP protocols, DNS, DHCP, VPNs etc.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware) is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
