Data Analyst - Alta, Norway (Contract with Accommodation)



We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to provide valuable insights and recommendations to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collect, organize, and analyze large amounts of structured and unstructured data from various sources
- Develop custom scripts and queries to extract relevant data for analysis
- Identify trends and patterns in the data to provide actionable insights for decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop data-driven solutions
- Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present findings in a clear and concise manner
- Monitor data quality to ensure accuracy and consistency of results
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis techniques

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role with a track record of delivering valuable insights
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions
- Proficiency in SQL, Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Knowledge of statistical methods such as regression analysis, clustering, etc.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical information in a non-technical manner
