QA Engineer - Contract Position in Alta, Norway


We are seeking a talented and driven QA Engineer to join our team in Alta, Norway on a contract basis. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis. Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual and automated testing of software products to identify defects and improve overall quality.
- Develop test plans and strategies based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that product features meet customer expectations.
- Use bug tracking tools to report, track, and resolve issues found during testing.
- Continuously improve testing processes and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies related to software testing.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Appium is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills in English.

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of $1200 per month. There is potential for extension or conversion to a full-time position based on performance.

Location:
This position is located in Alta, Norway. Remote work options may be available depending on project requirements.
