Job Title: Android Developer


We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our team in Alta, Norway on a contract basis. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. Your primary focus will be developing applications for the Android platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Ensure code quality by conducting code reviews

Requirements:
- Proven working experience in Android app development
- Proficient in Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Experience with offline storage, threading and performance tuning
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Knowledge of biometric passport authentication is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Biometric passport is required

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1000$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in Alta, Norway. However, remote work may be considered for highly qualified candidates.
