Data Mining Analyst


We are in need of a highly skilled Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large amounts of data to identify patterns and trends. Additionally, you will work closely with our data science and business intelligence teams to provide valuable insights and recommendations for decision making.

Responsibilities:
- Collect and organize large datasets from various sources
- Use advanced data mining techniques to identify patterns and trends
- Develop algorithms and models to extract information from complex data sets
- Analyze data using statistical methods and visualization tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide actionable insights
- Communicate findings and recommendations through reports, presentations or dashboards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Proven experience as a Data Mining Analyst or similar role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and interpret large datasets
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python or R
- Experience with data mining tools such as SAS, SPSS or Tableau
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1600 per month for this contract position.

Location:
This is an on-site job located in Alta, Norway. Please note that accommodation is not provided for this position.
