Data Mining Analyst



As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends. Your main goal will be to help our company make informed decisions based on the insights you uncover through your analysis. This position is located in Alta, a beautiful city nestled in the northern mountains of Norway.

Responsibilities:
- Collect and organize large sets of data from various sources
- Use statistical methods and tools to analyze data and identify patterns
- Develop algorithms and models to predict future trends
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Collaborate with other teams to develop strategies based on data insights

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with experience using statistical software such as R, Python or SAS
- Knowledge of data mining techniques such as clustering, regression, and decision trees
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred:
- Experience working with large datasets in a professional setting
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques
- Proficiency in SQL for database querying

Salary:
This position offers a salary of 1100$ per month.
