Data Analytics Specialist

We are hiring a highly skilled Data Analytics Specialist to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Data Analytics Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that will inform business decisions and strategies. You will work closely with various departments to understand their data needs and provide actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and organize large datasets for analysis
- Develop data models and algorithms to extract insights from complex data
- Identify patterns and trends in data and provide valuable insights to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide analytical support
- Present findings in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical audiences
- Continuously monitor data quality and make necessary improvements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Proficient in SQL, Python/R, and other statistical software/tools
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear manner
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience working with large datasets is preferred
