Database Administrator


We are in search of a skilled and detail-oriented Database Administrator to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and securing our company's databases. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure database software
- Monitor database performance and ensure data integrity
- Develop backup and recovery procedures
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of databases with applications
- Implement security protocols to protect sensitive data
- Conduct regular maintenance tasks, such as updates and patches
- Create database documentation and train users on proper usage
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in database technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (DBMS)
- Experience with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of DBMS software
- Knowledge of SQL language and programming skills are preferred
- Familiarity with database security measures and disaster recovery procedures
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
