Part-Time Database Administrator

The role of Database Administrator (DBA) is an essential part-time position within our organization, based in the vibrant city of Alta. As a DBA, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's databases, ensuring their security and availability for use by our team. Responsibilities:
- Install and configure database software according to best practices
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Develop and implement data backup and recovery plans

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Proficient in SQL language and experience with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle)
- Familiarity with database design principles and data normalization
- Knowledge of data backup, recovery, security protocols, and disaster recovery procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferences:
