Entry Level Tester in Alta, Norway


As an entry level tester in our company, you will be responsible for conducting various tests on software and systems to ensure their functionality and performance. You will work closely with experienced testers and developers to learn the necessary skills and gain hands-on experience in the field. This is a contract position in Alta, Norway with a salary of 1400$ per month. Accommodation will also be provided for the duration of the contract.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual and automated tests on software and systems
- Identify bugs and report them to the development team
- Collaborate with developers to understand requirements and troubleshoot issues
- Create test plans, cases, and scripts
- Document test results and provide feedback to improve product quality
- Learn new testing techniques and tools from experienced testers

Requirements:
- No prior experience as a tester is required, but knowledge of testing principles is preferred
- Basic understanding of programming languages such as Java or C++ is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different testing methodologies
