As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services for a variety of clients in the Alta area. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, making it ideal for students or individuals with other commitments. You must have previous experience in interpretation and be fluent in at least two languages, including English and Norwegian. As this position requires working with clients from diverse backgrounds, strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. You will also need to have excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services for clients in various settings, such as business meetings, conferences, and medical appointments
- Act as a liaison between clients who speak different languages
- Ensure accurate communication by interpreting words and concepts accurately and impartially
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics at all times
- Research terminology related to assigned projects to ensure accurate interpretation
- Manage time effectively to meet the needs of multiple clients with different schedules

Requirements:
- Previous experience as an interpreter is required
- Fluent in at least two languages, including English and Norwegian
- Strong verbal communication skills in both languages
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.
