Moderator for Virtual Events
We are hiring a skilled and experienced Moderator to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Moderator for virtual events, you will be responsible for managing and facilitating online events such as webinars, virtual conferences, and live streams. Your role will involve engaging with participants, coordinating with speakers and presenters, and ensuring a smooth flow of the event.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the technical aspects of virtual events, including setting up and testing audio/video equipment and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Facilitate online discussions and Q&A sessions during events.
- Monitor and moderate participant interactions to ensure respectful and productive discussions.
- Coordinate with speakers and presenters to ensure they have the necessary equipment and materials for their presentations.
- Prepare event materials such as polls, surveys, and handouts.
- Assist in promoting the event through social media channels.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Moderator or similar role in virtual events.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong technical skills with experience in using different virtual event platforms and tools.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
