We are hiring an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team in Alta, Canada. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders to assist with construction projects.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to company policies and procedures
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel
- Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently
- Monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed at all times to maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule and within budget
- Keep accurate records of daily activities and report any incidents or accidents immediately

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or similar environment
- Valid Class A or B driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans
- Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures for heavy equipment
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor as needed
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary
