A contracting company in Alta is seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating heavy equipment and will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of machinery on job sites. This is a contract position with potential for full-time employment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and graders
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate work tasks and ensure project deadlines are met
- Read and interpret blueprints or plans to accurately complete tasks
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or similar environment
- Valid professional certification or license for operating heavy equipment (e.g. Class 1 license)
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and ability to follow them at all times
- Ability to read blueprints or plans accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment (e.g. excavators, loaders, etc.)
- Experience working on construction sites or similar environments in remote locations
- Familiarity with GPS systems for accurate measurements and navigation

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per week.
