Entry-Level Heavy Equipment Operator in Alta, Canada


We are hiring an entry-level heavy equipment operator to join our team in Alta, Canada. As a heavy equipment operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of various types of heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. This is an excellent opportunity for someone without experience to gain valuable skills and start a career in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and responsible manner according to company policies and procedures
- Perform pre-operation inspections on equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Follow project specifications and plans to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other contractors on site
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced operators
- Basic knowledge of heavy equipment operation is an asset but not required
