Job Title: Glazier Assistant


We are a reputable glass installation company based in Alta, seeking a motivated and reliable Glazier Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. As our ideal candidate, you should have a strong interest in the glazing profession and a willingness to learn on the job. Previous experience as a Glazier is not required, but would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with measuring and cutting glass to specified dimensions
- Prepare work areas by removing any old glass or debris
- Help with installing glass into frames or structures using specialized tools and equipment
- Clean and polish installed glass surfaces
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Ability to work at heights using ladders or scaffolding
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1500 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Alta, with some travel required for on-site installations.
