Job Title: Librarian - Alta, Norway

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Librarian to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing the library's collection of books, periodicals, and digital resources. Your main duties will include cataloging materials, assisting patrons with research and locating resources, and maintaining the library's computer systems.

To excel in this role, you should have a passion for literature and knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and strong attention to detail. You must also possess excellent communication skills to effectively assist patrons from all backgrounds. A degree in Library Science or a related field is required.

Responsibilities:
- Cataloging and classifying materials according to library standards
- Assisting patrons with research inquiries and locating resources
- Managing the library's computer systems and databases
- Planning and implementing engaging library programs and events
- Maintaining an organized and welcoming environment for patrons

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Prior experience working in a library setting preferred
