Part-Time Instrument Technician
A reputable oil and gas company in Alta, Canada is seeking a Part-Time Instrument Technician to join their team. This position offers a competitive salary of 1600$ per month and includes accommodation.
As a Part-Time Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for conducting maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing of all instrumentation and control systems on our oil and gas production sites. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on all instrumentation equipment including calibrations, testing, and repairs
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and make necessary repairs
- Install new instrumentation systems as needed
- Assist with project planning and execution for new installations or upgrades
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities
- Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols while on site
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with instrumentation technology preferred but not required
- Strong technical skills with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
