Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, such as building frameworks, partitions, joists, stairways, and window frames.

Responsibilities:
- Work with blueprints or instructions from supervisors to build structures
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, squares, or marking gauges
- Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools or power tools
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trim, or hardware
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while working on job sites
- Collaborate with other carpenters and contractors to complete projects in a timely manner

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of different carpentry techniques and tools
- Physical stamina to handle heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license

Salary: 1200$ per month (without accommodation)
Location: Alta, Norway
