Caregiver vacancy in Alta Norway

Live-in Caregiver

We are in need of a compassionate and dedicated Live-in Caregiver to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to elderly or disabled individuals with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication management. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services according to individual care plans
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Administer medications as prescribed by a doctor
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a caregiver is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills in English (Norwegian language skills are a plus)
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle difficult situations with patience and empathy
- Must be physically able to perform duties such as lifting and transferring clients if needed
- Valid work permit/visa for Norway (we do not provide sponsorship)
- Must be willing to live-in with the client (accommodation will be provided)
