Executive Chef
Our busy restaurant in Remish is seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, from menu planning and food preparation to inventory management and staff training.
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and innovative menus that reflect current food trends and meet the preferences of our guests
- Ensure high quality food preparation and presentation by maintaining consistency in recipes, portion control, and plating techniques
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations
- Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure a high level of productivity and performance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to food safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop cost-effective strategies for menu planning and purchasing
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new ingredients, techniques, and equipment to continuously improve our menu offerings
- Conduct regular reviews of kitchen procedures to identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team towards achieving common goals
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with guests, staff, and vendors
- Flexibility with scheduling including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- Culinary degree or equivalent work experience
- Egyptian nationality preferred
Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)
