We are currently seeking a highly motivated Junior Database Administrator to join our team in Balzers, Liechtenstein. In this entry-level role, you will be responsible for assisting with the administration and maintenance of our company's database systems. This is a contract position with the potential for growth and development within our company.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with database installations, configurations, and upgrades
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Implement security measures to protect data integrity
- Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of databases with other systems
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends in database management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
- Proficiency in SQL and database management tools (such as Oracle, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server)
- Knowledge of data backup and recovery procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud-based databases (such as AWS or Azure)
- Familiarity with scripting languages (such as Python or PowerShell)
- Certification in database administration (Oracle Certified Associate, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate, etc.)

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of $1500 per month for this entry-level position.
