Job Title: Executive Chef
We are currently hiring for an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Ar-Ruwais, Saudi Arabia. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation and kitchen operations. Your main goal will be to ensure high-quality meals are served and that the kitchen is running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create new menus and recipes based on current food trends and customer preferences
- Oversee all kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed at all times
- Monitor food costs and maintain inventory levels
- Collaborate with management to develop budget plans and pricing strategies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen at all times
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team
- Strong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Head Chef or 8 years experience as an Executive Sous Chef
in a high-volume establishment
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine preferred
- Must have experience working in a multicultural environment
Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on qualifications)
