Construction Manager for Contract Projects in Nairobi, Kenya


We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Construction Manager to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate construction projects from start to finish
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
- Hire and manage subcontractors and construction workers
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Resolve any issues or delays that arise during the construction process
- Review designs and plans for accuracy and feasibility
- Maintain detailed records of project progress, including financial reports and documentation of any changes or updates to the original plan

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction management
- Experience working on contract projects is preferred
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in project management software
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Salary:
The salary range for this position is $1200 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Nairobi, Kenya.
