Chef de Cuisine - Salalah



The Chef de Cuisine will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation and kitchen operations in our high-end restaurant located in Salalah. This position requires a highly skilled and creative chef who is passionate about creating unique and delicious dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain menus that reflect the restaurant's concept and vision
- Manage food inventory and ordering to ensure freshness and minimize waste
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff to maintain high levels of productivity and quality
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Monitor food costs, labor costs, and overall budget to maintain profitability
- Create daily specials and seasonal menus to keep customers coming back for new experiences
- Collaborate with management team to plan special events or catering services
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff effectively
- Knowledge of current food trends, ingredients, techniques, and presentation styles
- Proficiency in menu planning, recipe development, cost control, inventory management
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Creative mindset with a passion for experimenting with new flavors and techniques
- Excellent communication skills in English
Salary: 900$ monthly
