Indian Chef in Salalah, Oman
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Chef to join our team at a prestigious restaurant in Salalah, Oman. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking authentic Indian dishes, ensuring high quality and presentation of food, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining food safety standards. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience as an Indian Chef, excellent knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes according to recipes and standards
- Manage kitchen operations including food preparation, stock control, and cleanliness
- Ensure high quality and presentation of food
- Train and supervise kitchen staff
- Maintain food safety standards at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with management to create new menu items or make changes to existing ones
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Indian Chef or related role
- Excellent knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Culinary degree or certificate preferred
