Unity Developer


We are a rapidly growing gaming company based in Washington, looking for a skilled Unity Developer to join our team. As a Unity Developer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing game mechanics, systems and features using the Unity game engine. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1700$, and we are open to hiring Kenyans and women for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement game mechanics, systems and features using the Unity game engine
- Collaborate with designers, artists and other team members to create engaging gameplay experiences
- Write clean, efficient and maintainable code
- Debug and optimize code for performance on various platforms
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in game development
- Actively participate in team meetings and provide input on project progress

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience as a Unity Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of C# programming language
- Experience with developing mobile games using Unity engine
- Familiarity with 2D/3D graphics development, animation techniques, physics engines, UI design and development
- Ability to write clean, well-documented code
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Bonus Skills:
- Experience with multiplayer game development
- Knowledge of other programming languages such as Java or Python
- Experience working with third-party APIs
