Phlebotomist (Al-Khor, Qatar)


We are in need of a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar. The ideal candidate should have a passion for healthcare and excellent communication skills. The main responsibility of this role is to collect blood samples from patients for medical testing and transfusions. You will also be responsible for properly labeling and storing collected samples, as well as maintaining accurate patient records. This position requires exceptional attention to detail and the ability to follow strict safety protocols. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required. This is a part-time position with accommodation provided for foreign candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and explain the blood drawing process
- Prepare equipment, including needles, tubes, and gauze
- Ensure proper labeling of collected samples
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- Follow established safety protocols at all times
- Accurately record patient information and test results
- Monitor inventory of supplies and inform supervisor when restocking is needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Certification or training in phlebotomy preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to phlebotomy
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to handling blood samples
- Willingness to adhere to strict hygiene standards
- Availability for flexible working hours

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.
