We are currently hiring a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Ashdod, Kenya. As a Typesetter, your main responsibility will be to format and layout written content for print or digital publication. This role requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Format and layout written content, including text, images, and graphics, according to specific style guidelines
- Use software programs such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress to create page layouts
- Make necessary adjustments to text and images to ensure proper alignment and spacing
- Collaborate with editors and designers to ensure the final product meets quality standards
- Proofread materials for spelling, grammar, and formatting errors
- Ensure consistency in design elements throughout the publication
- Stay updated on industry trends and new software developments related to typesetting

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Strong understanding of typography, layout design, and color theory
- Proficient in using typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Salary:
This position offers a salary of $1300 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Ashdod, Kenya. While preference will be given to Kenyan candidates, we welcome applicants from any nationality who meet the qualifications.

Other:
This is a full-time position without accommodation provided. However, we do offer free visa processing assistance and flight ticket for successful candidates who require it.
