Senior Accountant


We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Jizan. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company and ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. You will work closely with other members of the finance team to maintain financial records, prepare financial reports, and analyze financial data to provide insights for decision making. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the accounting department
- Manage and maintain general ledger accounts
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances from budget
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Provide support for audits by preparing necessary documentation
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)
- CPA or equivalent certification is highly desirable
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to work independently
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.

Location:
This job is located in Jizan. However, candidates from other cities in Saudi Arabia are also welcome to apply.
