Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects from start to finish. Your main duties will include planning, budgeting, coordinating and managing the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize and oversee construction projects from start to finish
- Develop project schedules and monitor progress to ensure timely completion
- Prepare budgets and track expenses
- Hire and manage subcontractors and other staff involved in the project
- Obtain necessary permits and licenses
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations and other legal requirements
- Review and approve project designs, specifications and materials
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on project status

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of construction processes, building codes and safety regulations
- Strong budgeting, scheduling and time management skills
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings and plans
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively

Salary: 1000$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Other requirements: Must have a valid biometric passport
