Smelter Operator
Location: Bungoma, India


We are currently seeking a skilled Smelter Operator to join our team in Bungoma. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring the smelting process to produce high-quality metal products. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, strong attention to detail and a safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the smelting process, including feeding materials into the furnace, adjusting settings and monitoring temperature levels
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the smelting process
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications
- Maintain accurate records of production and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and identify areas for improvement

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in metallurgy or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Smelter Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to smelting operations
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members from diverse backgrounds
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a hot, industrial environment for extended periods of time

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month. We also offer benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth.
