Land Surveyor Assistant


We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Land Surveyor Assistant in Las Vegas. As a Land Surveyor Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced surveyors to assist in the collection and analysis of data for various land surveying projects. This role is ideal for someone who is interested in pursuing a career as a land surveyor and is looking to gain hands-on experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up and operating surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and levels
- Collect field data while maintaining accuracy and precision
- Help create maps, plats, and other surveying documents using AutoCAD or similar software
- Conduct research and gather information from various sources to aid in the completion of surveys
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project goals are met

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD or other CAD software is preferred but not required
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license is preferred
