We are hiring a Preservation Architect to join our team in Clairvaux, France. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings, ensuring their longevity and cultural significance.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings to determine preservation needs and develop restoration plans
- Collaborate with engineers and construction teams to oversee the implementation of preservation projects
- Research and recommend appropriate materials and techniques for restoration
- Ensure compliance with local preservation regulations and standards
- Document all preservation work, including before and after photos and written reports
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor the condition of historic buildings under your care

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in preservation architecture or historic building restoration
- Excellent knowledge of historical architecture styles, materials, and techniques
- Strong understanding of local preservation regulations and standards
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills in English (French proficiency is a plus)
