Mine Technician


As a Mine Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining mining equipment and machinery. Your role will involve inspecting and repairing equipment, as well as setting up and preparing work sites. You will also be expected to assist with the extraction of minerals and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various types of mining equipment, including drills, bulldozers, and excavators
- Inspect equipment for any malfunctions or damage, and perform necessary repairs
- Set up work sites by clearing debris, installing support structures, and laying out drilling patterns
- Assist with the extraction of minerals by operating drilling equipment and loading materials onto trucks or conveyors
- Follow safety protocols to ensure the well-being of yourself and your team members
- Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or damages to supervisors
- Keep detailed records of daily operations, including production levels and equipment maintenance schedules
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure a smooth workflow

Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a miner or in a similar role is required
- Ability to operate heavy machinery in a safe manner
- Strong mechanical skills for inspecting and repairing equipment
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in outdoor environments for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail in order to follow safety protocols and maintain accurate records
- Basic knowledge of drilling techniques is preferred but not required

Contract Details:
This is a contract position with a salary of 1300$ per month. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract. This role is suitable for men who are physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments. While English proficiency is not required, basic communication skills would be beneficial.
