Database Administrator

We are hiring a Database Administrator to join our growing team! As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting our company's databases. This is a contract position with a salary of 1200$ per month, based in Triesen.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Develop and implement database backup and recovery plans
- Create and update database documentation
- Manage user access and permissions for databases
- Optimize databases for performance and scalability
- Work closely with software developers to ensure efficient integration of databases into applications
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices for database management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong understanding of database design, management, and optimization
- Experience with SQL and database programming languages
- Familiarity with data security protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Database Administrator or related role
- Knowledge of cloud-based databases (such as AWS or Azure)
- Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
