Head Chef

A renowned restaurant in Sheduva is seeking a skilled and passionate Head Chef to join our team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, managing a team of chefs and ensuring that our high standards of food quality and presentation are consistently met. We are looking for a creative individual with excellent leadership skills, strong culinary expertise, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute menu items in collaboration with the restaurant owners
- Manage inventory, food costs, and kitchen expenses
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on cooking techniques, recipes, and safety procedures
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, presentation, and consistency
- Monitor portion control to minimize food waste and control costs
- Handle any customer complaints or issues related to food quality or service
- Stay updated on industry trends and introduce new dishes to the menu

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized institution
- Extensive knowledge of different cuisines, cooking techniques, and food presentation
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (knowledge of other languages is an asset)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Salary:
$1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)

This position is open to candidates of all nationalities. However, preference will be given to Egyptian or Filipino chefs.
