Pastry Chef

Our upscale restaurant in Dubai is seeking a highly skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delectable desserts and pastries that delight our customers. You will work closely with the head chef to develop new recipes and ensure that all baked goods are of the highest quality.

Responsibilities:
-Create and prepare a wide variety of desserts and pastries, including cakes, tarts, pies, cookies, and more
-Develop new recipes and constantly update menu offerings
-Ensure all baked goods are of high quality and meet food safety standards
-Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
-Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
-Train and supervise pastry assistants
-Collaborate with the head chef to coordinate dessert offerings with the main menu
-Participate in menu planning meetings

Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
-Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and safety precautions
-Creativity in developing new dessert recipes
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
-Excellent time-management skills
-Team player with strong communication skills
-Degree or certification from a culinary school is preferred
-Previous experience working in an upscale restaurant is a plus

Salary: 1000$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Dubai (Indian nationals preferred)
