Head Chef - Indian Cuisine (Al-Khor, Qatar)
We are in search of a highly skilled Head Chef with expertise in Indian cuisine to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, from menu planning and food preparation to managing the kitchen staff and maintaining food safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus with a focus on authentic Indian dishes
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring high quality of food preparation and presentation
- Oversee inventory and ordering of ingredients and supplies
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Monitor portion control and minimize food waste
- Collaborate with management to develop new recipes and menu items
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
- Excellent knowledge of Indian spices, flavors, and cooking techniques
- Ability to create innovative dishes while staying true to traditional flavors
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
- In-depth understanding of food safety regulations
- Experience with inventory management
- Good communication skills in English
Salary: 1700$ per month (tax-free) plus benefits such as accommodation, transportation, and medical insurance.
