Senior Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Ar-Ruwais. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all financial activities of our company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will also be expected to provide guidance and mentorship to junior accountants, as well as work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations including accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, inventory management, and revenue recognition
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Conduct budgeting and forecasting activities with department heads
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Identify areas for cost reduction and provide recommendations for improvement
- Mentor junior accountants by providing training and guidance on accounting principles
- Liaise with external auditors during yearly audits
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely processing of financial transactions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or equivalent certification required
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a senior accounting role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAP preferred)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: 1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Ar-Ruwais (open to Kenyan nationals or foreigners willing to relocate)

Language Requirements: English fluency required
