Accountant

Our accounting firm in Herzliya is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions and ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. You will also be responsible for preparing financial reports, analyzing data, and providing recommendations for improving financial performance.

Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Conduct financial analysis to identify areas for cost reduction or revenue growth
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow projections
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information
- Provide recommendations for improving financial performance

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
- At least 3 years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of local tax laws and regulations
- Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Herzliya, Israel (open to candidates from Canada)

Employment Type: Part-time (20 hours per week)

Language Requirement: English (Hebrew is a plus but not required)
