Sous Chef - Kaunas, Lithuania
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Sous Chef to join our dynamic team in Kaunas, Lithuania. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with our Head Chef to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen and ensure the highest quality of food is being served to our customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and executing menu items that reflect our restaurant's concept and vision
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu planning, costing, and pricing
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Culinary degree or certification preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and plating presentation styles
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead a team effectively
