Senior Accountant


We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Bayan, Africa. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of our company and ensuring that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date. You will also play a key role in developing and implementing financial strategies to drive the success of our organization.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as banks, auditors, and tax authorities
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper allocation of resources and timely payments to vendors
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary changes within the company
- Participate in strategic planning activities to support business growth

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, practices, laws, and regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

This is an urgent position that requires immediate availability. The salary for this role is $1000 per month. Please note that this is a contract position without accommodation provided.
