Welder



As a Welder, you will be responsible for joining and repairing metal parts using various welding techniques. Your main duties will include interpreting blueprints and drawings, operating welding equipment, and inspecting finished products for quality control. You will need to have prior experience in welding and be proficient in using hand-held welding tools.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment according to the type of metal being used
- Clean and prepare metal surfaces by removing any rust or debris
- Weld components using various techniques such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), or gas metal arc welding (GMAW)
- Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment or materials as needed
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety procedures and wearing appropriate protective gear
- Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on each project

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
- Experience working with different types of metals such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of different welding techniques including GTAW, SMAW, and GMAW
- Ability to use hand-held tools such as grinders, clamps, and cutting torches
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must have a valid biometric passport for travel purposes
