Indian Cuisine Chef


We are seeking an experienced and creative Indian Cuisine Chef to join our team at our restaurant in Ashdod. As an Indian Cuisine Chef, you will be responsible for creating authentic and delicious Indian dishes, as well as managing the kitchen and overseeing the other kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes according to traditional recipes and techniques
- Develop new dishes and menus to keep up with current food trends and customer preferences
- Ensure that all food is cooked to perfection and meets quality standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and prep cooks
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Collaborate with management on menu planning, cost control, and budgeting
- Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Indian Cuisine Chef or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, including traditional cooking techniques and spices
- Ability to create unique and flavorful dishes while adhering to authenticity
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Education/Training:
A culinary degree or diploma from a reputable institution is preferred. However, equivalent work experience will also be considered.

Salary:
We are offering a salary of 1700$ per month for this position.

Location:
This position is located in Ashdod. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Israel.
