Chef - Indian/Egyptian Cuisine (English Speaking)
As a Chef specializing in Indian and Egyptian cuisine, you will be responsible for creating and preparing traditional dishes from these regions. Your role will involve sourcing fresh ingredients, developing menus, and managing kitchen staff. You must have a strong understanding of Indian and Egyptian food culture and be able to adapt recipes to meet the preferences of an English-speaking clientele. You must also have excellent communication skills to effectively lead your team and interact with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare authentic Indian and Egyptian dishes
- Develop menus that cater to the preferences of an English-speaking clientele
- Source fresh ingredients and maintain inventory levels
- Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring high-quality output
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Interact with customers to ensure satisfaction with meals
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef specializing in Indian/Egyptian cuisine
- Extensive knowledge of Indian/Egyptian food culture and traditional recipes
- Strong communication skills, fluency in English is a must
- Ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail, especially when it comes to food presentation
- Excellent time management skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Salary:
$1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
