Barista for Specialty Coffee Shop (Jizan, Saudi Arabia)


We are in search of a skilled and passionate Barista to join our team at our specialty coffee shop in Jizan, Saudi Arabia. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting and serving high-quality coffee beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the coffee shop.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of espresso-based drinks such as cappuccinos, lattes, and macchiatos
- Interact with customers to take orders and make recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain high standards of quality control, including properly measuring and grinding coffee beans
- Keep track of inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
- Ensure the cleanliness of all equipment and work areas at all times
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service at all times
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Passion for specialty coffee and knowledge of different brewing methods is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, or evening shifts if needed

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality is a plus
- Fluent in Malayalam; knowledge of English is preferred but not required
- Must have own visa to work in Saudi Arabia

Salary: 1600$ per month (tax-free) + tips
Employment Type: Temporary (3 months) with potential for extension.
