Puncher - Metal Fabrication



We are a growing metal fabrication company based in Nairobi, seeking a skilled Puncher to join our team. As a Puncher, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines to punch holes and shapes in metal sheets and plates. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to read technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate punch machines to cut holes and shapes in metal sheets and plates
- Read technical drawings to determine specifications for punching
- Measure and mark reference points on metal sheets according to drawings
- Adjust machine settings for different types of punches and materials
- Monitor machine operation, making necessary adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality control
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area cleanliness

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience as a Puncher in the metal fabrication industry
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools accurately
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Familiarity with different types of punches, dies, and materials used in metal fabrication
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to machine operation

Salary:
Starting salary is $1200 per month with potential for growth based on performance.

Location:
This position is located in Nairobi, Kenya.

Preference:
Preference will be given to Indian candidates with own visa. English speaking skills are required.
