Network and Systems Administrator


We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Siauliai. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization. You will also be responsible for ensuring the security and efficiency of our network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Conduct regular backups to ensure data preservation
- Perform system upgrades and updates as needed
- Manage user accounts, permissions, email accounts and storage allocations
- Maintain data center environmental standards such as temperature control and power supply
- Monitor system security to prevent unauthorized access or breaches
- Troubleshoot system and network problems in a timely manner

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- Proven experience with network design, implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems
- Experience with disaster recovery planning
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as CCNA or MCSA
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Perl)
- Experience working in a cloud environment (AWS/Azure)
